"I love to paint. There is a satisfaction in reflecting what is seen onto canvas. Canvas, paint, and subject matter. That's all I need for the perfect day.
Teaching others to paint is also a favorite pursuit. I am dedicated to sharing the pleasure of making art. I have a successful history teaching art to all age groups. My lessons are taught with the principle that everyone can learn to communicate through painting." Michel McNinch
This will be our first December meeting and our first holiday party! Roy Paschal, a well-known local artist, will be painting as part of our celebration. We are asking that each person bring a covered dish to share. TAG will provide drinks and paper products. This will be a fun evening for us to get to know our members better, chat about art, watch art in motion, enjoy music by some of our members, or just simply enjoy the fellowship with others.
A painter who understands the importance of spirit and personal vision in the creation of art.
Roy Paschal was born in South Carolina. A South Carolina full of natural beauty. From the wide expanses of a low country marsh to the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains. As a boy he roamed these natural habitats searching for glimpses of wildlife or merely enjoying the sights and sounds of nature.
To this day you can find Roy knee deep in a salt water marsh or hiking along a trail with his sketch pad or paints in hand as he is always looking for that special spot to glimpse the magic of nature. Enjoying and painting the diminishing sights and people being overtaken by our ever growing and expanding population.
Roy received his training from: Ringling School of Art, Scottsdale Artist School, Various Workshops
